What is the "forest fire" upgrade?

The "forest fire" compliance, also known as the OLD Standard (Legal Obligation to Clear Brush), includes all obligations related to the felling, pruning, and clearing of brush located in forest areas or near them. Its zones are determined by the PLU (Local Urbanization Plan, visible in the town hall) and are subject to annual brush clearing obligations, but not only. Indeed, we are often obliged to bring up to standard the clumps of trees and the different levels of vegetation of your property but also on the 50m area.

So, what is the 50m zone, you may ask?

This is an area where you will need to set and maintain the OLD standard. You and your neighbors (if you have them of course) will share this task, it will be shared according to the calculations and plans that the town hall you depend on will give you (if you don't have them, you can ask them). Don't forget that this is a legal obligation, and therefore there are controls and therefore unfortunately also sanctions.

We will prune your trees so that they meet standards but also in a way that facilitates their maintenance.

We carry out the clearing of your land as well as the 50m zone whatever the type of terrain, and whatever its geography. Indeed, our team is trained to carry out brush clearing with several types of terrain and with different levels of finish, for an initial compliance or for the annual maintenance that will result. Several annual maintenance formulas can be offered to you to allow you to sustain your compliance while controlling your budget.

Maintenance & Fit-out

We propose to establish with you the list of things to be done so that you can sustain your upgrade and also avoid having to start all over again, with the blow that this implies.

There are several solutions for this, depending on your budget and your desires. First of all, see with you the possible arrangements to facilitate the maintenance of this upgrade (choice of hedges, installation of terraces or other outdoor landscaping, choice of "ground cover" vegetation to limit brambles or other...). Then make a list and calendar of things to do, and finally see what you want to do and what you want to delegate. Subsequently, if you wish, we can establish maintenance contracts with us or our partners.
